This policy explains what personal information RareVaults collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers rarevaults.shop and the orders placed on it. The data controller is RareVaults, 1309 Coffeen Avenue, Ste 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address, and the contents of your order. When you contact support we keep the messages you send us. When you browse the site we collect technical information automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and cookie identifiers. We never see or store your full payment card number – card details go straight to our payment processor.
Why we use it
We use your information to process and deliver orders, take payment, send order and delivery updates, handle returns and refunds, answer support requests, prevent fraud, keep the site secure, measure how the site performs, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with: payment processors (to take payment), shipping carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx (to deliver your order), our web host and email provider, analytics and security providers, and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart, checkout, login, and security working; the site cannot function without them. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but essential cookies are needed to complete an order.
Security
The whole site, including checkout, runs over HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate. Access to order data is restricted to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and will notify you and the authorities if a breach affects you.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for 7 years to meet U.S. tax and accounting rules. Support messages are kept for 2 years. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept for 26 months.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. If you are in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing – we do neither – and we will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection; our legal bases are performance of a contract, legal obligation, consent, and legitimate interests. Children
The site is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our servers and service providers are located in the United States. If you order from outside the U.S., your information is transferred and processed there, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes are announced on the site.
